Fran Rauchwerger, Director
Fran is the Director of the Beagle School. She has her BA in English from Skidmore College and a MS in Childhood Education from The College of Saint Rose. She holds NYS teacher certifications in Early Childhood, Childhood, and English Language Arts Grades 7-9. Prior to coming to The Beagle School, Fran worked as a teacher for the Schenectady Head Start program. She is dedicated to spreading awareness of the importance of quality early childhood education programs. In her free time, Fran loves antiquing and spending time with her two pugs.
Anna is the Head Preschool Teacher for our 2-year old program. She has her BA and Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Brooklyn College. She has over 10 years of teaching experience, much of it focused on the prekindergarten age group, and is a NY state permanently certified teacher. Through classroom activities tailored for 2-year olds, she is able to provide a creative and nurturing environment where children can grow and learn. In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family, playing paddleball and reading.
Anastasia is the Head Preschool Teacher for our 3-year old morning program. She has her BS in Elementary and Special Education from Green Mountain College and over 9 years of teaching experience. Her kind, creative and energetic personality provides a nurturing and engaging classroom for our 3-year olds. When not at the Beagle School, Anastasia enjoys spending time with her young family, photography, reading, and being outdoors.
Mary is the Head Preschool Teacher for our 4-year old morning and afternoon program. She has her BS in Early Childhood/Special Education and is a NY state certified teacher in Early Childhood/Special Education. Prior to coming to the Beagle School, Mary worked with autistic preschoolers. Mary has a passion for young learners and loves bringing interesting learning experiences and activities to her classroom. In her free time, Mary loves spending time with her grandsons, reading, and traveling.
